Rome. The Crown Prince was received in private this morning by His Most Eminent Highness the Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of St. John of Jerusalem, of Rhodes and of Malta, Fra' Andrew Bertie, at the Magistral Palace.
The Crown Prince was invested with the Bailiff Grand Cross of the Order of Malta. The Crown Prince invested the Prince and Grand Master of the Order of Malta with the Insignia of the Order of St. Peter of Cetinje and that of a Grand Cross with Diamond Star of the Order of Prince Danilo I of Montenegro.
The Crown Prince invested other officers of the Order of Malta with the Insignia of the Order of Prince Danilo I of Montenegro including the Grand Commander, His Excellency Fra' Giacomo Dalla Torre del Tempio di Sanguinetto (Grand Cross Gold Star), the Grand Chancellor, His Excellency Fra' Jean-Pierre Mazery (Grand Cross Gold Star), the Grand Hospitaller, His Excellency Baron Albrecht von Boeselager (Grand Cross Silver Star), the Receiver of the Common Treasure, His Excellency Marquis Gian Luca Chiavari (Grand Cross Silver Star), members of the Sovereign Council, His Excellency Fra' Carlo Arditi di Castelvetere, His Excellency Fra' John Alexander MacPherson, His Excellency Fra' Elie de Comminges, His Excellency Fra'Filippo Maria Ferretti di Castelferretto, His Excellency Winfried Henckel von Donnersmarck, and His Excellency Antonio Sanchez-Corea, Jr. (all Grand Cross), the Secretary of Interior Affairs, His Excellency Fra' Norbert Venceslas Kinsky di Wchynicz et Tetow (Grand Cross), Diplomatic Advisor, His Excellency Giulio Di Lorenzo Badia (Grand Cross), the Prelate of Honour, His Excellency Rt. Rev. Archbishop Angelo Acerbi (Grand Cross), and the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Holy See, His Excellency Alberto Leoncini Bartoli (Grand Cross).
His Royal Highness was entertained to Lunch this afternoon by the Prince and Grand Master of the Order of Malta.
His Royal Highness attended a reception this evening given by the Ambassador of Portugal to the Holy See, His Excellency Mr. João Alberto Bacelar da Rocha Páris at Villa Lusa, Via S. Valentino, Rome.
The Crown Prince invested the Ambassador of Portugal to the Holy See with the Insignia of Grand Cross of the Order of Prince Danilo I of Montenegro. Also invested with the Insignia of Grand Cross of the Order of Prince Danilo I of Montenegro was the Ambassador of the Order of Malta to Serbia and Montenegro, His Excellency Štefan Falež, the Ambassador of Bosnia-Herzegovina to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, His Excellency Miroslav Palameta, the Ambassador of Croatia to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, His Excellency Emilio Marin, the Ambassador of Macedonia to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, His Excellency Bartolomej Kajtazi, the Ambassador of Slovenia to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, His Excellency Luvik Toplak, the Ambassador of Spain to the Holy See and the Order of Malta, His Excellency Jorge Dezcallar de Mazarredo.
His Royal Highness was entertained to dinner this evening by the Ambassador of Portugal to the Holy See.
